Comedy Central has extended its contracts with its two staple late-night show hosts, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Both comedians have signed new deals that will keep them on the network for two more years.

With the contract renewal, Stewart is bound to serve as executive producer, writer and host of "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" through the middle of 2015. Meanwhile, Colbert will continue executive producing, writing for and hosting "The Colbert Report" until the end of 2014.

Stewart's previous contract would have expired summer next year, while Colbert's would have expired by the end of this year.

Although still behind "South Park" and "Tosh.o" in terms of ratings, "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" have shown growths in adult demo. The former posts a 10% increase among 18-49 viewers compared to last year, while the latter is up 11% in the coveted demo. Moreover, "The Daily Show" currently delivers more 18-49 viewers (1.4 million) than any other late-night talk show on television.
