Singer Mandy Moore has revealed that she will be working with her husband Ryan Adams for her new album. The new record will be a follow-up to "Amanda Leigh" which was released in 2009, the same year that the singers wed.
The former teeny-bopper has said, "I'm probably going to work with my husband on this album. I'm not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we've been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there."
Moore has also said that her singer-songwriter husband "certainly inspires me," and adds that "there's tremendous influence right now around the house - from the music I've been introduced to, and being very happy and in a healthy, happy relationship. I think that still garners a lot of material to write about."
The "Candy" hitmaker, who has been dabbling in acting since very early in her career, was recently attached to a sitcom pilot but decided to focus on her music. Though so, she says that she does not want to give up on acting. "I like to have my plate as full as possible," she said about juggling the two professions. "I also try to be picky and choosy and find things that are going to help you grow and evolve and challenge you."
Since her last album, Moore has voiced Rapunzel for the Disney animated movie, "Tangled". She also recorded songs for the movie including the Oscar-nominated track, "I See the Light", which featured her co-star Zachary Levi.
She hopes to finish and release her new record late this year or in early 2013.
