Simon Cowell Glad His Window-Smashing Trespasser Ordered to Stay Away

Simon Cowell is relieved that his overzealous fan, who sneaked into his London house by breaking his window on March 24, is banned from contacting him. She's ordered to stay away within 300 yards of "The X Factor (US)" judge's home in the upmarket Holland Park area.

The 30-year-old woman, Leanne Zaloumis, was initially charged with aggravated burglary. In a court hearing on Friday, July 6, she admitted to possessing a brick with intent to destroy property, but denied the burglary accusation. Her plea was accepted by prosecutors, which meant that the case would not go to trial.

In addition to being slapped with restraining order, Zaloumis is required to stay inside her home between 7 P.M. and 7 A.M., and wear an electronic tag. Presiding judge, John Denniss, luckily did not send her back to jail, reasoning the 102 days she served behind bars during the custody was enough for her.

The media mogul was not present during the hearing taking place at Isleworth Crown Court in west London, but he's happy with the result. His spokesperson said, "He glad that the judge was understanding and sympathetic, and hopes that she (Zaloumis) gets some help and support."
