In anticipation of the return of "The Good Wife", CBS teases fans with first official photos of some guest stars in season 4. Those getting the highlight are Marc Warren, Kristin Chenoweth, Nathan Lane, Maura Tierney and Dominic Chianese.

Warren is billed to play Kalinda's manipulative ex-husband, Chenoweth is cast in recurring role of a political reporter, and Lane will be seen as "a bottom line-obsessed manager imposed on Lockhart & Gardner by the bank to cut costs and get the firm back to fiscal health."

Tierney portrays "a self-made millionaire who has become the doyenne of Chicago Democratic politics," while Chianese will channel "a veteran judge with an uncanny knowledge of computer programming." Additionally, Rita Wilson is set to reprise her role as frequent Lockhart & Gardner nemesis, Viola Walsh.

Also slated to guest star is Amanda Peet who will play a military lawyer hiring Alicia to help her sue a contract worker for attempted sexual assault. Peet's character and Alicia then become friends. Her photo, however, is yet to be shared.

On the other hand, Matthew Perry who made his debut as Mike Kresteva in season 3 doesn't rule out the possibility of returning to the legal drama though he's headlining a new comedy "Go On". "Before 'Go On' got picked up, they had plans for it to be a much bigger character; I was going to do nine or 10 episodes, but I know I'll be able to go back and do one or two," he told Zap2it.

The former "Friends" star added, "I wish I could do both shows, but you just can't. So far, the two episodes they've given me are some of the best writing I've encountered."

"The Good Wife" will kick off its fourth season on Sunday, September 30 at 9 P.M. on CBS. Meanwhile, Perry's "Go On" just premiered on Wednesday, August 8 post-Olympics coverage on NBC. It had a strong debut with 16.1 million viewers and a 5.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demo.
