Amanda Bynes has been cited not just once but twice for her ignorance of getting behind the wheel without a valid license. The "Easy A"
actress is slapped with two counts of driving on a suspended license,
stemming from her runs-in with cops on September 16. She is facing a
maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.
Bynes was pulled over by airport authority police official near
Burbank's Bob Hope Airport back then. When the cops ran her license,
they found out it was suspended. An hour and a half after the first
incident, the former child star had her car impounded and was cited for
the same offense when crossing paths with the same cops again.
Besides those charges, Bynes is facing a DUI charge and two counts of
hit-and-run misdemeanor. Luckily for her, judge denied prosecutors'
request to set $50,000 bail for her during a court hearing on September
19. She, however, was warned that a hefty sum of bail would be imposed
on her if she broke the law once again.
Since her car was taken by cops, Bynes was spotted taking a cab. She
reportedly locked herself inside a dressing room for almost two hours
when shopping in a clothing boutique in Los Angeles recently. She also
had a minor altercation with a shutterbug. She's accused of roughing up
the paparazzo, but she exclaimed, "I didn't touch you!"
Due to her numerous troubles and erratic behavior, Bynes was allegedly dumped by her agent, publicist and lawyer.
"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my
career," she once said of her plan for the future. "I am going to do a
fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I
don't drink, and I don't drink and drive."
