The rubber-faced comedian is caught on camera rocking The Colonel full attire including his signature eye mask and army costume. He is spotted shooting the scene alongside Aaron Johnson, Lindy Booth and Robert Emms who are clad in Kick-Ass, Night Bitch and Insect-Man costumes respectively.
In addition to the set pictures that reveal Carrey's first look at Colonel Stars, a set video of "Kick-Ass 2" is shared online. The footage gives a clear look at Christopher Mintz-Plasse who dons The Mother F*cker getup. He is seen filming a scene where his character robs a convenience store before fleeing with a taxi.
Plot details for "Kick-Ass 2" are still scarce. The original "Kick-Ass", which was released in 2010, focused on ordinary teenager Dave who set out to become a real-life superhero. The sequel is directed by Jeff Wadlow, who also works to pen the script alongside the first film's director Matthew Vaughn.
Also joining the sequel are Chloe Moretz as Hit-Girl, Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy, Olga Kurkulina as Mother Russia, and Andy Nyman as The Tumor. The film will be released in the U.S. on June 28, 2013.
