Kelly Clarkson gives a first taste of her upcoming "Greatest Hits - Chapter 1" album on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. The winner of "American Idol" inaugural season unleashes a brand-new pop/rock single called "Catch My Breath" that she writes with her longtime collaborators Jason Halbert and Eric Olson.

She sings about going through the bumps on the road and having a fair share of hurdles to get to where she's now. "I've spent most of my time catching my breath, letting it go, turning my cheek for the sake of the show," she belts out the empowering lyrics before declaring that now is time to be herself and celebrate all her hard works.

"This song represents who I've been, what I've felt, and where I'm headed as not only an artist but as a 30 year old that is now smart enough to know that it's time to stop, catch my breath, and be proud of not only what has been accomplished but of all the people that have helped me become the woman I am today," she says.

"Greatest Hits" will be out in the United States on November 19. Marking her first ever "Greatest Hits" compilation, it is released a decade after her "Idol" win and a lengthy catalogue of hit singles taken from five studio albums. Her biggest hits including her 2003 debut single "Miss Independence" are listed in the CD.
