Taylor Swift continues her media tour to celebrate the release of her latest studio album "Red". In a preview of her appearance on Katie Couric's talk show, the country/pop singer is grilled by the host about her love life among other things.

"I don't know how to have a normal relationship because I try to act normal and love from a normal place and live a normal life, but there is sort of an abnormal magnifying glass, like telescope lens, on everything that happens between me and anybody else," she says.

Despite the fact that she has written a lot of songs about breakups and makeups that are inspired by her personal experiences, the girlfriend of Conor Kennedy insists she is not really a love expert. "I don't really know much about love, it turns out," she explains.

The former "Good Morning America" host then says to Taylor, "Some of the people you've been with, like John Mayer claims your hit song 'Dear John' was about him and he felt humiliated," to which the 22-year-old singer just rolls her eyes and says, "Oh, come on."

How about her other ex-boyfriends? When Katie presses, "Do you ever hear from these dudes, like, 'Yo Taylor, guess what, I really didn't appreciate this.' Do they ever get in touch with you?" Taylor admits, "Well, some of them like to write really long emails."

"Do you ever written a song that was so mean, you couldn't release it? Like a burn book, when you're really angry and you write a letter and just put it in a drawer. Have you ever done that with a song?" the host asks another question. "No. I just put them on my albums," Taylor replies.

At one point, Katie also asks, "Let's talk about the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'. Did he get the message?" The full interview will air on "Katie" this coming Friday, October 26.

Taylor Swift unveiled a sneak preview to her "Begin Again" music video when stopping by "Good Morning America" on Monday, October 22. The snippet was played during an interview with co-host George Stephanopoulos.

In one scene, the country music beauty is seen sipping some coffee in a cafe before a good-looking guy comes approaching her. Other scenes feature the "Mean" hitmaker singing alone with a backdrop of the beautiful Paris, where the clip was filmed.

Swift didn't say when the full music video would be released, but did talk about the creative process of her latest album "Red", which hit the stores Stateside on Monday. "[I'm] exploring, kind of pushing myself and taking myself out of my comfort zone, which is writing alone," she shared. "[I'm] going and working with my heroes, songwriters who have influenced me my whole career. It really kind of challenged me in the best way possible."

During a Hot Seat session, she answered simple questions about her favorite TV shows, first celebrity crush and favorite place. She later learned that she shared the same favorite comfort foods with Robert Pattinson.

Less than 24 hours after "Red" was officially released, the album has topped iTunes chart. Speaking of the great reception, Swift said at a Target listening party to promote her fourth studio installment, "They are all telling me their favorites."

"It's so much fun, because their favorites determine my set list for my shows on tour next year," she went on gushing. "It determines a lot, so I'm just loving seeing the iTunes [songs] chart and getting to see which ones are floating to the top."

Swift is scheduled to visit "GMA" once again on Tuesday to perform live.

Artist of the Week: Taylor Swift

Artist of the Week: Taylor Swift

Starting it off as a teen songwriter, Taylor Swift is now one of the icons in country music. She released her first studio album "Taylor Swift" at the age of 17 and was quickly welcomed by music lovers, proven by the huge number of her album sales which put her on No. 5 of Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart.

Within a range of two years each, she launched her second and third installments which both sent her to top the U.S. albums chart. However, the blonde beauty hadn't scored her first No. 1 single until she unleashed "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" from her upcoming fourth installment in August this year.

With a massive digital demand, the breakup song posted the second best digital sales in a week overall, placing behind Flo Rida's "Right Round". It also broke a record for the most downloaded track in one week by a female artist, surpassing Lady GaGa who previously held the title with "Born This Way".

Summing up the last two years of her life, including the ups and downs, in the album, Swift also shows her vast musical colors. From slow tune "Begin Again" to danceable track "Starlight", and from pop song "22" to country-rock stomper "Holy Ground", all are enlisted in the record.

"It's all the different ways that you have to say goodbye to someone," she said of the album's theme. "When you're experiencing the ups and downs of a relationship, especially when you're 22 years old, they all strike you different ways. Every different kind of missing someone, every kind of loss - it all sounds different to me."

Having gained mostly favorable reviews for "Red", the 22-year-old artist will likely top the Hot 200 chart after the record debuts this Monday, October 22. To further boost the album sales, she is set to perform on "Good Morning America" on October 22 and 23.

Taylor Swift on Starring as Joni Mitchell in Biopic: 'That's Actually Not Confirmed'

A few months ago, Taylor Swift grabbed the headline as she reportedly snatched the lead role in Joni Mitchell biopic "Girls Like Us". The country music beauty hasn't said anything about the casting report until recently, when she confirmed that she actually hasn't signed on to the project.

Speaking to TIME, Swift clarified that she hasn't been sealed to play Mitchell as stating, "That's actually not confirmed. I wish I could say it's confirmed!" The blond singer, who will very soon drop her latest album "Red", additionally suggested that the biopic project itself had yet to be greenlit.

"The thing about movies that I've learned is - I've been reading scripts for five years, and you just don't know what ones are going to get greenlit and which ones aren't," the 22-year-old songstress stated. "So I can't talk about it unless it's the real thing."

Previously, Swift admitted that she "hoped" to play Mitchell in the upcoming film, which is adapted from Sheila Weller's book of the same title. She, however, noted that she would star in the film if it was "the right role" and "the right script."

"I would love to sign on to do a movie if it was the right role and if it was the right script, because I would be taking time away from music to tell a big grand story, and spend all of my time and pouring all of my emotions into being someone else," she said. "So for me to do that, it would have to be a story worth telling."

Back in April, Variety first reported that Swift would likely star in "Girls Like Us", which also looked for actresses to play Carly Simon and Carole King. The project has tapped "House M.D." producer Katie Jacobs as the helmer and John Sayles as the scribe.

Should Swift really join the biopic, this won't be her first acting stint as she previously took part in ensemble romantic comedy "Valentine's Day" in 2010, and appeared as herself in Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana: The Movie" in 2009. Earlier this year, she joined the voice cast ensemble of hit animation "The Lorax".

Taylor Swift continues the countdown of her new studio album "Red" which is due in the United States on October 22. Two weeks before the album release, she unleashes a brand new song called "I Knew You Were Trouble" to keep fans on their toes.

In the song, 22-year-old Taylor sings about an anonymous boyfriend that shatters her heart after a breakup. While the theme of the song is not entirely new in her catalogue, the music is surprisingly refreshing with its dubstep sounds unlike her usual pop/country vibes.

She sings her heartache, "I knew you were trouble when you walked in/ Shame on me now/ I flew me to places I'd never been/ So you put me down/ I knew you were trouble when you walked in/ Shame on me now/ I flew me to places I'd never been/ Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground."

Of the song, she said, "It's about, kind of, being frustrated with yourself because here you are heartbroken and you knew when you first saw that person, you saw all these red flags and you just went for it, anyway." She added, "[The] sounds just as chaotic as the feeling was when I wrote it."

The song was released in its entirety a few hours after being previewed on "Good Morning America". Taylor will release one fresh song each week leading up to the album release date. The countdown is expected to culminate with her performance on "GMA".

Taylor Swift Mocks John Mayer for Assuming 'Dear John' Was About Him

Taylor Swift Mocks John Mayer for Assuming 'Dear John' Was About Him

Taylor Swift dissed John Mayer for making an assumption in an interview with Rolling Stone that her song "Dear John" was about him. "How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about," the country/pop music crooner said.

When her interviewer was about to tell her how John felt about the song, Taylor cut in, "No! I don't want to know, I don't want to know." She added, "I know it wasn't good, so I don't want to know. I put a high priority on staying happy, and I know what I can't handle."

Taylor explained, "It's not that I'm this egomaniac and I don't want to hear anything negative, because I do keep myself in check. But I've never developed that thick a skin. So I just kind of live a life, and I let all the gossip live somewhere else. If you go too far down the rabbit hole of what people think about you, it can change everything about who you are."

John once said he was humiliated by the song. "It made me feel terrible because I didn't deserve it," he stated. "I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do." He then fired back, calling the song a "kind of cheap songwriting."

John is currently linked to Katy Perry, while Taylor is dating Conor Kennedy. "I don't talk about my personal life in great detail," Taylor said to Glamour. "I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through."

The Kennedys Feel 'Lucky' to Have Taylor Swift in Their Family

Taylor Swift sealed an approval from the family of her new boyfriend Conor Kennedy. Both his aunt Rory and his grandmother Ethel sang praises for the 22-year-old singer at the Television Critics Association summer tour on Wednesday, August 1.

"She's awesome," Rory gushed at the HBO panel for her movie "Ethel". "She's a great friend of all of ours." Ethel added, "We should be so lucky." The older Kennedy, however, denied rumor that she played matchmaker for her 18-year-old grandson and the blonde country music crooner.

Taylor was recently spotted spending the weekend with Conor at the Kennedy family compound in Massachusetts. They enjoyed pizza, strolled barefooted, jumped on a trampoline and sailed with some friends. They were seen holding hands and staying close to each other.

It's the second time she was caught on camera visiting the iconic American family. The first one was during the fourth of July holiday.

Hayden Panettiere on 'Nashville': My Character Is Less Nicer Than Taylor Swift

Hayden Panettiere on 'Nashville': My Character Is Less Nicer Than Taylor Swift
See larger image
Though her character on "Nashville" has the same profession as Taylor Swift, Hayden Panettiere insists her alter ego Juliette Barnes is not based on the real-life country music singer. Speaking to the press at ABC's panel during the Television Critics Association summer tour, the 22-year-old actress said, "I've heard the Taylor Swift thing quite a bit and I think besides being around the same age and blond - not even the height - they are different."

"And I think you guys, once you see her and get to know Juliette, my character, a little bit better, you'll see that. But I really think Taylor would disagree wholeheartedly as well," added the title character depicter in TV movie "Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy". Pointing out another difference between Juliette and Taylor, she stated, "She's [Taylor] much nicer than my character."

Hayden's character is not the only one who has been compared to a real-life artist. Her co-star Connie Britton opened up about her recent encounter with Reba McEntire, "I ran into Reba McEntire on a plane and she said, 'Did you hear you're playing me in your show?' "

The "American Horror Story" alumna went on sharing, "I said I had no idea! For me, it's an amalgam of a lot of different people, but I think it's fun to take from that sort of palette and really let this lone character emerge. I don't have any one person I'm basing the character on."

On the new musical drama that will debut on ABC Wednesday, October 10, Hayden portrays the young and sexy future of country music, Juliette, while Connie takes on the role of Rayna James, a country legend whose popularity is starting to wane lately. When Rayna is forced by her label to be opening for up-and-comer Juliette in a concert tour, a conflict rises.

Connie described their rivalry as something more than a "cat fight." She explained, "I don't think anybody's interested in that. We're much more interested in showing these two people at different places in their lives and what their journeys will be."

After sharing behind-the-scene look at the filming of "Both of Us" clip, B.o.B has finally debuted the music video in full. The rapper and his collaborator Taylor Swift share smiles in several scenes that feature them together, but they are mostly seen being apart throughout the video.

While the "Play the Guitar" rhymer is roaming the streets and spitting his lines, the country music beauty is playing with a dog in a field of flowers. Their scenes are mixed with footage of lovers, little boys and other people enjoying some casual moments.

The music video was filmed in several locations in Nashville under the direction of Jake Nava, who aimed to make it different than other music videos. "It brings out the most enchanting side of Taylor Swift," North Carolina-born B.o.B gushed when the "Fearless" songstress filmed her solo scene in the farm.

"Both of Us" is the third single lifted off B.o.B's second studio album "Strange Clouds". On how the duet project came about, he recently shared that Swift "came to Atlanta and she hit up Grand Hustle. I wasn't there. Tip was there, and I eventually linked with her in Dallas, and the rest is history."
